HALIBURTON, ON – Keep your umbrellas close by, says Environment Canada.
The meteorological agency issued a special weather statement for Haliburton, Minden and parts of southern Haliburton County as well as Fort Irwin, Oxtongue Lake and northern Haliburton County.
According to Environment Canada’s forecast, the area could get between 35 to 45 millimetres of rain before tomorrow.
Residents and travellers are being reminded that low-lying areas could experience flooding and to travel safely and stay indoors wherever possible.
