Pampered Chef donates to hospitals, setting up vendors

The Haliburton and Minden hospitals are hosting Pampered Chef again this year to help with your Christmas shopping. Foundation Executive Director, Dlae Walker says the vendors donated to the hospitals in order to sell their product and she explains where the funds will go.

Pampered Chef will be at each hospital location for one day only.

Walker says the funds will go toward the new palliative centre but also to upgrading hospital equipment.

The Foundation has already raised $620,000 of their $900,000 goal for the new Palliative Centre which will be added to the Haliburton hospital. Walker says they’re thinking construction will begin in the spring and it should be up and running next fall.
