Haliburton Thrift Warehouse broken into last week

HALIBURTON, ON – An investigation is underway in Haliburton after someone broke into SIRCH’s Thrift Warehouse.

The warehouse took to social media pleading for the help of the community to figure out the culprit that stole from them Wednesday of last week.

According to the warehouse’s Facebook post, a person broke in around 6:00 am and stole a number of items.

Attached to the Facebook post was a 12-minute video taken from the surveillance cameras in the warehouse. In the video, the person entered the building and made their way across the floor when they appeared to stop at a specific location and began ransacking the store.

The person is seen wandering the store picking up random things and perusing through shelves and boxes.

Warehouse staff believe the person will likely try to sell the things they stole, saying they are antiques.

The person seen in the video is described as somewhere between 5’3’’ and 5’8’’ and wearing black Fila runners.
