The Haliburton Legion is sending a warning out to residents that a woman impersonating a legion member is canvassing for money. According to the legion, the woman is telling people she’s from the Haliburton branch and is asking for donations. Legion members are letting the public know that they do not have a campaign driver happening right now, so legion members are not out asking for donations. If you are approached by anyone asking for donations like this, please contact the Minden OPP detachment at 286-14-31.
