Canadian Armed Services pairs up with Canadian Blood Services

MUSKOKA, ON-This month, the Canadian Blood Services are pairing up with the Canadian Armed Services for Remembrance Day.

For the Canadian Blood Services, it is a time to honour the women and men in the military who have given blood for us.

In service of Remembrance Day, Canadian Blood Services is asking for people to consider giving blood or make a financial donation.

Blood can be given at the Summit Centre in Huntsville on November 23rd, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

In Parry Sound, there will be a drive at St. Peter’s-Knights of Columbus Hall on November 22nd between 3:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with another on January 3rd between 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Another will be at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Haliburton on December 9th between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Other upcoming dates include the Huntsville Faith Baptist Church on December 23rd, between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The Gravenhurst YMCA will hold a drive on December 24th between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and

Drives will be held at the Bracebridge SportsPlex on December 30th between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and January 27th  between 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
