Liz Danielsen was voted Deputy-Reeve of Algonquin Highlands for a second term at today’s Inaugural meeting. Each council member was sworn in and afterwards made remarks, all agreeing the township needs to keep the momentum going. Reeve Carol Moffatt said the township has a long history of progressive thinking and she’s looking forward to continuing that legacy. Councilors Marlene Kyle and Brian Lynch nominated Danielsen for the position of Deputy-Reeve and the resolution was passed with a unanimous vote.
