There are two more cases of COVID-19 in our health unit district.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting the 11th and 12th confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
One is a woman in her 50’s from Northumberland who is in self-isolation. The 12th reported case is a woman in her 40’s from the City of Kawartha Lakes who is also self-isolating.
Effective Monday March 23, all HKPR District Health Unit offices will be closed to the public except for lab pick up and delivery, needle exchanges and Naloxone.
Staff continue to respond to hundreds of calls received each day. Residents are asked to be patient and their call will be returned.
