News Dysart council votes to hold virtual meetings SHARE ON: Sue Black, staff Wednesday, Mar. 25th, 2020 Dysart et al council meetings will be held virtually during COVID-19 crisis Dysart et al meetings are going virtual. Council met Tuesday morning to update the procedural by-law to allow for virtual meetings. With the support of Dysart’s Emergency Control Group, they passed a delegation of authority by-law to allow decisions to be made faster during the emergency period. This action ensures continuity of business operations and is a common practice for municipal governments. The municipality will continue to provide important services including operating landfills, maintaining roads, managing tax payments, reviewing planning issues, issuing permits etc. While the office remains closed to the public, staff continue to be available via email or phone.
