Local Doctor keeps Haliburton County informed

Haliburton Highlands Health Services want to root out and isolate those that may have been in contact with someone who has been travelling, or has had contact with someone who had COVID-19, and didn’t know it at the time.

HHHS also want to know who out there has had it,  so they can continue on with their activities.

Dr. Norm Bottum says If you have been in contact with someone that has recently traveled, or someone that has been in contact with a recent traveller, and you’re not feeling well, go to the COVID-19 assessment at Ontario.ca/coronavirus, or go to Telehealth, if you want to talk to them. If you don’t have access to the internet, call the Family Medical Centre at 457-1212 ext.6 and they will go over your symptoms and make an appointment to be assessed, if necessary.

COVID-19 assessments are by appointment only.

Dr. Bottum will be back on the Moose Friday morning to give a COVID-19 update.
