Those involved will be required to put 1.9 per cent of their paycheck away, and the employer has to match it. Scott says the PCs are fighting it because it would be a mandatory plan that people just can’t afford.[sc_embed_player fileurl=”http://cfzn.moosefm.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/ORPP-2.mp3″]Scott says when this came up during the recent campaign she heard from local businesses and they were not happy.[sc_embed_player fileurl=”http://cfzn.moosefm.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/ORPP-3.mp3″]The plan is going through a consultation process and isn’t set to roll out until 2017.
