Haliburton Highlands Health Services confirm that all of the staff and residents at Highland Wood and Hyland Crest have tested negative for COVID-19.
Further surveillance testing of all HHHS staff on May 5, has come back negative.
President and CEO Carolyn Plummer says they are “pleased to share the news and they are looking at this testing as strictly one picture in time”.
Plummer says HHHS “will not relax their diligent work to protect all residents and staff, including through physical distancing and hand washing, twice daily temperature screening, and the wearing of masks in their facilities”.
