A coroner and the fire Marshall are investigating a trailer home fire south of Gravenhurst that killed one person today. OPP Constable Samantha Bigley says the scene – just off HWY 11 SB is being held for Forensics and that the Crime Unit has taken over the investigation. This morning Gravenhurst Fire Chief Larry Brassard confirmed three firefighters were also injured while aggressively entering the burning trailer at Muskoka Mobile Home Park – two suffered burns and had to be taken to hospital while another was injured when they fell on ice. It had been reported one person was trapped inside the trailer as it burned. The deceased has not been identified yet pending next of kin notification.
