Four people on Mountain St. in Haliburton busted for trafficking cocaine

Four Haliburton residents were charged in a drug bust Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

Haliburton OPP and City of Kawartha Lakes Central Street Crime Unit with help from the Central Region Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a Mountain Street address in Dysart.

After a months long investigation, aimed at drug trafficking in the Highlands, four individuals were charged with trafficking cocaine, a schedule one substance.

All were released and are expected to appear in Minden court,  September 2, 2020.

The Ontario Provincial Police are actively pursuing criminal activities involving individuals and organized crime in our communities. We will continue to investigate and prosecute those individuals who choose to engage in this behaviour.
