Haliburton Highlands Health Services has adapted many of their supports and services, to offer virtual access.
Since the start of the pandemic, they have moved mental support groups to teleconference and video conference. They also offer online balanced fitness exercises on the HHHS YouTube page, and have moved their friendly visiting program to phone calls and virtual visits, where possible.
HHHS has also moved team meetings to teleconferencing and video conferencing, to respect physical distancing rules inside their facilities.
Other local service providers have also come up with ways to keep providing their support to the community.
