The Algonquin Highlands Emergency Control Group met yesterday and updated information related to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
The Dorset Tower property will remain closed until the province allows mass gatherings to occur. The closure includes access to the tower, the park, the trail and the public water tap.
All public beaches will remain closed until further notice and the township has extended the tax payment due dates.
The first instalment for the 2020 Final Tax bill is September 25 and the second instalment due date is now November 20.
