Septic Re-Inspections for a small ‘test’ group this fall, in Minden Hills

WSP tells Minden Hills “don’t do any septic inspections for the rest of the year”.

The township’s Chief Building Officer Colin Mcknight told Minden council, the earliest inspections could begin was August, and if there is a re-emergence of the virus, WSP would not be responsible for cancellations and re-bookings.

After years of delays in proceeding with the septic re-inspection program in Minden Hills, Councillor Pam Sayne wants to get this going because she says, “the public is ready”.

Because septic inspections can be done until the end of October, Minden council directed staff to find a small group in the township to go through the septic re-inspection process, to give them an opportunity to test the process, and be ready to go in the spring of 2021.
