The holiday week and return of cottagers in large numbers, has also congested the area more than usual.
The number of people coming into town today for the Haliburton Farmers Market in Head Lake Park, will further add to the congestion.
The Farmer’s Market is open from noon until 4 today, and the entrance this year is at Park Street by the tennis court and beach.
