While snowmobile owners are patiently waiting for the trails in Haliburton County to open, OPP want to remind them that officers will be out monitoring trails. They’ll be performing RIDE checks as well as enforcing trail and speed regulations on multi-use trails. If you’re travelling on private property, make sure you have permission of the owner before heading out. Officers are asking everyone on the trails to put safety first.
