That brings the county down to nine active cases with one more resident screening positive for a variant of concern**. In Kawartha Lakes, Six cases, six recoveries and the town’s 43rd death because of COVID-19 were reported placing Kawartha at 45 active cases. 24 recoveries and 22 new cases were added in Northumberland which now stands at 117 active cases. **Even though the variants of concern have been counted in the data today it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in previous daily case counts.
