COVID-19; Three recoveries, no new cases in Haliburton Tuesday

The local health unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the County of Haliburton on Tuesday.

Three more residents recovered from the virus, placing Haliburton’s active case count at six with one more local screening positive for a variant of concern today.

Even though the variants of concern have been counted in the data today it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in previous daily case counts.

13 cases were added district-wide by the health unit today, 10 in Northumberland and three in Kawartha lakes.
