There are 2,759 new cases with a positivity rate of 5.7 percent. There were over 47,000 tests done over the last 24 hours. Just over sixty-nine percent on the new diagnoses are in the hot spots around the GTHA. Another 31 people have died with the death toll now at 8,405. The recovery rate is steady at 92 per cent while test positivity is at 5.7 per cent. There were more resolved than new cases reported.
