The Minden Food Bank is expecting their kitchen will be up and running by next week. Chair of Board, Marilynne, Lesperance says the propane for the stove still needs to be connected and they need to make sure they have all the supplies they need. She says their goal is to hold cooking lessons so people can learn how to make their food last longer and to make nutritious meals. She says they’ll also be using it to host workshops and cook the meals they distribute to clients in the community.
