The local health unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 from the County of Haliburton over the weekend.
Haliburton remains at one active case of the virus and our district stands at 14 active cases, 13 in Kawartha Lakes and none in Northumberland.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit administered over 17 thousand COVID-19 vaccines to residents over the past week, with only about 10 percent of those being first doses.
As of this morning, just under two-thirds of those 12 and older in Haliburton are fully vaccinated, up eight percent from last week, and just over 73 percent have received one dose, up two percent from last week.
