HHHS Nurses thanked in open letter from Physicians

Nurses at Haliburton Highlands Health Services are being thanked and acknowledged for their incredible work over the past 18 months.

In an open letter penned by the Physician Teams at both the Minden and Haliburton sites, the nursing staff was hailed for their dedication and sacrifice despite the exhausting circumstances. 

The prospect of Nurses ‘gearing up’ for the busy summer when already overworked added emotional burden, the letter says, to the physical exhaustion already present. 

However, Nurses continued to show up and support both the needs of this Country and their hard-working colleagues.

The letter also goes on to condemn anyone directing inappropriate protests or comments towards nurses.
