GO Vaxx bus returning to Haliburton

The wheels on the bus, and another chance to get vaccinated, are going around.

The GO Vaxx Bus is making another stop in Haliburton. It’ll be at the Haliburton County Visitor’s Centre on York Street, next to the public library, on Saturday December 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

The bus will offer first and second doses for anyone aged five and up. Booster shots are available to people aged 70 and up, Indigenous adults and their household members, health care or essential care workers, and people who got the Astrazeneca or Janssen vaccines. Boosters can only be given to people who have received their second dose at least six months before.

Residents are asked to bring their health card, or another piece of government photo identification.
