U-Links to highlight ongoing research project in annual Celebration of Research

U-Links has announced their annual Celebration of Research is happening in March. Emma Horrigan is the Director and she says the organization has been hosting this event ever since they formed in 1999. She explains what it is U-Links does in partnership with Trent University and organizations in the community.

Horrigan describes the annual event as a way for people to see how the research they do impacts the community.

This year they’re also highlighting the Turtle Road Mortality Mitigation Project they’re doing with the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust and the Managing Garlic Pests project with the Farmers’ Market Association.
