Province investing $10 million into 14 long-term care homes in Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock

Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MPP Laurie Scott says the province is taking immediate action to increase staffing in long-term care homes.

The $10,282,548 being invested in our area is part of the province’s commitment to ensure long-term care residents get at least four hours of direct care a day by 2024, Scott says.

The homes receiving funding are:

  • $1,447,740 for Victoria Manor in Lindsay
  • $1,299,492 for Lakeview Manor in Beaverton
  • $1,116,336 for Centennial Place in Millbrook
  • $1,064,016 for Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Home in Lindsay
  • $837,252 for Case Manor Care Community in Bobcaygeon
  • $837,252 for Caressant Care on McLaughlin Road in Lindsay
  • $592,052 for Springdale County Manor in Cavan Monaghan
