The Toronto to Algonquin Greenway project is asking for support from Minden Hills. This is coming after a presentation was made to Algonquin Highlands council earlier this month. Pamela Marsales is the greenway coordinator and at yesterday’s Minden Hills council meeting, she talked to councilors about the project which will create a network of municipalities, businesses and individuals. The goal is to connect the trails between Toronto and Algonquin Park through hiking, biking and paddling. Council agreed to include the request in their budget for this year.
