Some local residents were given the chance to have their say in a health survey. The City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team conducted a survey to find out how satisfied people were with local health care and areas it could improve. Executive Director of the team, Mike Perry presented the results to Haliburton County councilors this morning. Perry says a lot of respondents suggested forming a local health council so feedback can be ongoing. Councilors received the report and Perry says he’s hoping to take the information to the Health Care Committee in Ottawa.
