A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared in the In-Patient Department of the Haliburton Hospital.
Officials say there are currently 5 confirmed patient cases associated with the outbreak.
As a result, all COVID-positive patients or those who may have been exposed are now isolated and the department is now closed to any further admission. Officials say visitors are also restricted to essential caregivers and those receiving end-of-life care.
Officials say services in the Halliburton Emergency Department remain unaffected by the outbreak.
