The new palliative centre for Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS) is in the home stretch to construction. Official approval just came in from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, which means detailed drawings and the call out for contractors to bid on the project can all move forward.
According to Varouj Eskedjian, CEO and President of HHHS, the final planning documents will be ready to send to the Ministry in early April.
The Palliative Centre will be at the Haliburton location and will include two suites and a dinning and living room.
