OPP hold information sessions for parents on internet safety, drugs and more

A few information sessions from the OPP will give parents some important information about them and their children. Starting next week, information sessions will be held to give parents information about their child when it comes to internet safety and drug use. There are also sessions about how to protect yourself against frauds, and how to safeguard your home.

They’re being held out of the Lindsay detachment and are free to attend.

The following is a list of sessions being held:

  • Internet safety – April 8
  • Drugs – April 15
  • Frauds – April 22
  • Safeguard your home or cottage – April 29

The sessions will run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. You do need to pre-register to attend. You can do that by emailing Constable Carrie Lanning at [email protected] or contact the detachment at 705-324-6741.
