You’ll want to make sure you’re buckled up when you head out anywhere in your vehicle this weekend. Haliburton Highlands OPP, along with officers across the province will be conducting a targeted enforcement of seat belt laws.
Even though seat belt related deaths have hit a ten year low, 856 people have died over the past ten years because they weren’t wearing a seat belt.
Officers will be on the lookout over the long weekend to make sure you’re buckled up.
