Nature’s Place will soon be a place where more events can happen. Minden Hills staff have been doing renovations, which the Director of Community Services assured councilors, has not changed the integrity of the building or it’s energy-efficiencies.
Yesterday, Reeve Brent Devolin said that when they received the funds for the building, there were certain restrictions for how it was built and now they’re working to make the space somewhere that can be used more frequently.
They originally thought the work would cost five thousand dollars, but they’re ending up around 25 hundred.
It will be re-opened for Earth Day on April 22.
