She says governments and grant organizations more often now are looking for collaborative efforts, so this forum will hopefully spark some ideas for new funding or programming.
In addition, Ziman explains why they decided to host this kind of event and the important is has in Haliburton County.
Ziman says the forum is about strengthening the ties between the environmental organizations and the businesses in the County. They’ll be meeting tomorrow with a consultant from the Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition.
