The Township of Minden Hills is considering bringing the rodeo to town.
The Minden Agricultural Society has been talking to RAM Rodeo about bringing the event to Minden. Councilors heard yesterday that the company would bring the event to town with about 200 cowboys and cowgirls competing.
Ross Millar, who heads up the event said they would work with community organizations to put the event on and make it a fundraiser for the town. He also said they would cover advertising and insurance costs.
A final decision from council will be made at their May 28th council meeting.
