Residents in Haliburton County and across rural Ontario are hoping their rally had an impact. Jeanette Kosnaski, one of the administrators who started the Facebook Group, ‘Hydro One Enough is Enough’, says they had hundreds of people at the rally.
All of the administrators were called into a meeting with the Minister of Energy, Bob Chiarelli. However, Kosnaski says the admins weren’t exactly happy with the meeting, saying they felt like Chiarelli was treating them like children.
She explains that the premier has 24 sitting days from when the petitions were presented to respond. If nothing is done, Kosnaski says they’ll be doing this whole thing again.
