This month is Recreation and Parks Month, designed to encourage people to be active and raise awareness about the benefits of our green spaces.
The Township of Minden Hills is sending out the call for the photo challenge, put on by Parks and Recreation Ontario. Every day this month a new word describing an activity is assigned, inspired by Canada’s Year of Sport. You can take a picture of yourself or your family trying the sport or activity and post it to social media, using #RecAndParksMonth.
