Close to 120 thousand dollars is going into trail improvements in our area. Local MP Barry Devolin made the announcement today for about 34 thousand dollars going to the Haliburton ATV Association to replace two bridges.
The OFSC is also getting 55 thousand dollars to resurface 7 km of limestone trail north of Bobcaygeon, and 25 thousand dollars was given to the Township of Algonquin Highlands to enhance their local trails.
OFSC was also awarded just over $5500 to upgrade 8.5km of trail east of Apsley.
The money was made available through a partnership with the government of Canada and the National Trails Coalition.
