Haliburton County and the Aging Well Committee have received 25 thousand dollars for an aging well strategic plan.
We’ll be one of the first rural communities to do this kind of project which will create local aging plans. The information will apply to each municipality in the County.
EMS Director Craig Jones already agreed to work with the group to develop the plan.
The funds were made available through the Age Friendly Community Planning Grant.
