The Haliburton County Communities in Action Committee is hoping to get started on the next phase for Minden’s Riverwalk. They just submitted a grant application for five thousand dollars.
At a recent meeting, Deputy-Reeve Cheryl Murdoch was happy to see things moving forward. However, she said she doesn’t want council to pass the project off to someone else, but to stay the main party involved.
The goal is to expand Riverwalk to Rotary Park.
