Yarn bombing is starting to pop up in Haliburton County in the form of sticks covered in bright yarn. Lead of the Art Hive Artists’ Cooperative, Erin Lynch says yarn bombing is a form of street art, but it’s not as negative as other forms.

Lynch says they’re promoting an event called Warped in Haliburton, where anyone can take part in an outdoor art exhibit at the Art Hive.

Lynch says it’s all about getting people involved in the process of making art.

It’s happening on June 27, and is open to all skill levels and ages.
