Municipalities across the province are coming together for support on a new proposal for liquefied natural gas.
Northeast Midstream made presentations to Dysart and Minden Hills councilors in the last month looking for an agreement to bring the service to the area. It’s a 20 year agreement with not a lot of information coming forward, so they are teaming up with CAOs from northern Ontario communities who are getting the same proposal. They’ll be sharing information and advice to put the project together.
