According to the OPP, there have been 27 deaths in vehicle collisions on OPP-patrolled roads this month. The OPP says there have been 23 crashes between June 1 and 21.
Four of them involved double fatalities and one of them involved the death of two motorcycle riders. Two drivers were also charged with impaired causing death in two other collisions.
The OPP is asking drivers to buckle up, reduce your speed, and not to be impaired or distracted behind the wheel this summer.
