There’s a county council meeting today which will see a request to change some by-laws. The Haliburton ATV Association is asking council to change three of their by-laws so ATVs and other off-road vehicles are allowed on the Rail Trail and Haliburton County roads. The request is coming after the province passed legislation allowing ATVs and off-road vehicles on public roads.
The meeting starts at 9am and will also see reports from each department. It’s open to the public and takes place at the office on Newcastle Street in Minden.
