After 11 years on the job, Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock MP Barry Devolin won’t have that title for much longer. He says he feels it’s time to step down, but looking back, he says he’s proud of what he’s accomplished.
Devolin says he’s had some amazing experiences and opportunities and he’s been involved in a lot.
With the recent funding announcement for the TSW, Devolin feels like his two major projects are coming to a close, and he’s delighted he was able to see that happen while he was still MP.
Devolin and his family will be travelling for six months come September and then living in Korea for a couple of years so he can teach. But Devolin says they’ll always come back home to Haliburton County.
