NewsFleming College gets $395k for Skills Link project SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Tuesday, Jun. 30th, 2015The Skills Link project through Fleming College is getting 395 thousand dollars from the federal government.President of the Treasury Board, and Parry-Sound Muskoka MP Tony Clement made the announcement yesterday at the Haliburton campus. They were on site to highlight the success the program has already had in Haliburton County. To date, they’ve helped 23 youth find employment.The money will be used to get the program off the ground in the Peterborough area.Clement says the program is all about creating an economy that will work.
