A house is destroyed after a fire early this morning. Around 3am, the Dysart fire department arrived at the house on Gelert Road to find the house engulfed in flames. The Minden Hills fire department was also called in for mutual aid.

Reports say everyone was able to get out of the house, but a dog is missing.

Fire Chief Miles Maughan says the fire started in a dryer and spread to the rest of the building.
