A new Chief Administrative Officer will start with the County of Haliburton today. Mike Rutter is taking the position, following Jim Wilson who retired after 11 years on the job.
Rutter is coming from the Municipality of Trent Hills where he held the CAO position for almost 12 years. Before that, he worked as the CAO with the County of Peterborough.
His first council meeting with the County will be on July 22.
