Katie’s Run for Epilepsy is celebrating after bringing in over 15 thousand dollars over the weekend. It was the fourth year for the event, and they are still asking for donations to reach their 17 thousand dollar goal.
The local fundraiser sends all of the proceeds to epilepsy research, and it’s the largest private fundraiser for epilepsy in the country. This weekend’s event saw 150 people take part.
